The brackets used with Fastbraces® work on a different mechanical principle. It uses an innovative triangular bracket and a specially- shaped square wire. This is key in realigning the root and crown simultaneously. This technology gently allows for movement of the roots and the teeth towards their final position from the first treatment. This helps to achieve root parallelism in the early stages. This system will reduce treatment to approximately 3-12 months. Fastbraces® was first released in 1992.
